Swing in the Forest - Meditation

This guided meditation takes you on a journey through a Nova Scotian forest to a cozy bench swing for a pause and moment to soak in all the beauty nature has to offer.

LEAVING THE NEST

It's Spring and the newly hatched birds are chirping in the trees. This 43 minute practice gently explores two variations of Eagle pose. We start like the eagle still in the nest by exploring a reclined version, then stand and fly our Eagle.

FINDING BALANCE

An All Levels Vinyasa Practice for Finding a bit of Balance when you find yourself riding the waves of life and need to find your way back to calm waters. We'll mindfully make our way through some balancing poses and find our balance as we make our way into some more even postures, practice a little pranayama to help calm the mind, and end with a sweet rest.

WAKE UP STRETCH

This practice will allow us to work out all the kinks and tensions in our bodies so that we may sit tall and take full breaths. A perfect way to start the day (especially if you just slept in a weird shape around your puppy like me) or to reset mid day.

NECK, SHOULDERS AND HIPS  FOR MAY 5TH

NEW MOON INVITATION TO PAUSE

Following the New Moon's invitation, we move slowly with opportunities to reflect and set an intention for the new lunar cycle in this 45 minute Gentle all levels class. (Psst, wanna know what was going on during Peaceful Warrior pose? I was keeping an eye on a friendly spider who was strolling across the ceiling. Oh dear!)

A LITTLE SELF CARE - YINYASA

Welcome! This is a 45 minute practice for self care recorded during a live class. We'll be giving a little love to our feet, hands, shoulders and hips. I usually think of our YinYasa class a bit like a sandwich, with Yin as the bread and Vinyasa as the filling. This one is more like an open faced sandwich, where we start off with some self massage and release, then a little flow before we move into the nourishing stillness of Yin.

NEW YEAR'S 2021

This is an all over feel good 30 minute practice as we head into a New Year (or a New Day if you’re tuning in after the new year celebration has passed 😉). There is no cue to get up at the end, so if you’d like to settle in to bed for the night or take a mid day cat nap on your mat, this is an option for you. If you do need to wake up, you might like to set yourself an alarm when you lay down for Savasana. 

FINDING SPACE

Welcome to this 40 minute gentle all level practice where we carve out and take up space! We start by inviting some of the holding or tension in our physical body to release while we warm up. We also practice taking full breaths to create a spacious feeling within ourselves. Finally, we play with different poses that allow us to TAKE UP SPACE on our mats!

SHINE UNDER THE FULL MOON

Welcome! Let's shine like the full moon as we build up to a Half Moon pose in this 45 minute all levels class. I love watching the moon rise over the horizon, so we too will begin low on our mats before rising to shine in our balancing pose.
